A kindergartner who brought a loaded gun to school was injured along with two other students when the weapon fell out of his pocket and discharged as he sat down for lunch in the Ross Elementary School cafeteria.
A 6-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, as well as the boy with the gun, were hit by fragments after the weapon discharged, reports MSNBC. The fragments were either pieces of the round that discharged or pieces of the floor hit by the bullet, according to Houston Independent School District Assistant Police Chief Robert Mock.
