Two Concho County (TX) Sheriff's deputies were shot and killed late Monday evening in the town of Eden. A suspect is in custody.
A civilian was also reportedly shot in the stomach and rushed to a hospital in San Angelo.
The incident reportedly began with a traffic stop. The driver fled and after a short foot pursuit the suspect stopped at his nearby home where shots were fired and the deputies apparently were fatally wounded.

Local law enforcement is not offering many details. The incident reportedly began with a traffic stop, according to SanAngeloLive. The driver fled and after a short foot pursuit the suspect stopped at his nearby home where shots were fired and the deputies apparently were fatally wounded, witnesses told the paper.
The identities of the officers and additional victim have not been disclosed at this time, the ConchoValleyHomePage reports.
