Two law enforcement officers were killed, six people wounded or injured in an ambush in Allen, KY, Thursday night. A K-9 was also killed. The suspect is in custody.
Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies were serving a domestic violence order when a man opened fire. That man was identified by law enforcement as Lance Storz.
Officials said he went on a shooting spree and barricaded himself in a home for hours. Responding agencies included Kentucky State Police, The Louisville Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and agencies from Boyd, Knott, and Laurel counties, WKYT reports.
Five of the people injured or wounded were law enforcement officers. The sixth was an emergency management director Their conditions have not been released.

Arrest records show that Storz, 49, was charged with two counts of murder of a police officer, five counts of attempted murder of a police officer, and assault on a service animal. He was officially booked at 5 a.m. on Friday, Fox 56 reports.
The names of the slain and injured law enforcement officers have not been released.
