A 19-year-old man accused of firing a gunshot that injured two Detroit police officers Sunday night faces a slew of charges in connection with the incident, including several weapons counts, reports the Detroit Free Press .
Juwan Plummer of Oak Park was arraigned Wednesday via a video connection in 36th District Court in Detroit. He faces charges of intentional discharge of a firearm in a building causing serious injury, punishable by up to 20 years in prison, intentional discharge of a firearm in a building causing injury, punishable by up to 15 years in prison, felonious assault and four counts of felony firearm, prosecutors said.
