15 Officers Named In Tulsa Police Corruption Case

Fifteen Tulsa officers have been named as "officers of interest" in a federal corruption probe that involves allegations of bribery and stolen evidence, the Tulsa World reports.

Eight of the officers named are employed with the Tulsa Police Department and one is an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Perhaps as a result, 11 people have been freed from prison or have had their felony convictions or drug charges eliminated as part of the grand jury investigation, the media outlet reports.

The investigation involves allegations of stolen drugs and money, falsified search warrants, nonexistent informants and false testimony by undercover officers and police officers primarily with the Tulsa PD.
