New App Cuts Response Time to Active Shooter Attacks

Hero911 tells all police in the area when a teacher or other user of the corresponding app, SchoolGuard, sends an active shooter alert.

Hero911 from Guard911 was developed by law enforcement for use by law enforcement. The app alerts officers who have it loaded on their phones when they are in the area of an active attack. Civilian users can trigger police response through the corresponding apps of SchoolGuard for teachers and school personnel and Guard911 for hospitals, places of worship, theaters, and shopping malls, and other public places.
