Captain Mike Parker commands the L.A. County Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau that leads the marketing, media relations, and communications efforts of the LASD. The bureau coordinates the 24-hour dissemination of information and is responsible for the design and content of the LASD website, Nixle messaging and social media. He is a 26-year veteran of the LASD and activer Twitter user (@LASD_News and @MPLASD).
