Officer Sent to House Fire Finds His Home Burning, Rescues Own Family

An officer in Oklahoma responding to a report of a house fire discovered it was his own home.

Corporal Anthony Louie of the Seminole Police Department received a call early Friday that dispatchers received reports of a house fire and asked him to investigate, according to the Seminole FOP Lodge 138, the Fraternal Order of Police in the region.

After Louie arrived at the location, he realized the house engulfed in flames was his own. The corporal rushed into the home and successfully rescued his entire family, sustaining serious burns and smoke inhalation, NTD reports.
