Multiple Officers Reportedly Confirmed for COVID-19 Across the Country

According to the Sentinel, an officer with the Portsmouth (NH) Police Department is recovering at home after testing positive for the disease.

An officer with the Columbus (GA) Police Department has tested positive for COVID-19 according to a report from ABC News.

NBC News reports an officer with the Fort Worth Police Department has been off work and recovering at home after testing positive for Coronavirus.

According to WTAE-TV, an officer with the Pittsburgh (PA) Police Department began to exhibit flu-like symptoms and was sent home last week. The next day he was tested and was found to have the disease.

Multiple officers across the country have contracted the disease, and in some cases officers have died from COVID-19.

The CDC recommends that first responders wear disposable gloves, eye protection, and face masks rated to N95 mask or higher.
