Ohio Deputy Injured in Vehicle Collision with Stolen Car

A deputy with the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office was among three people injured when his squad car collided with a stolen car during a vehicle pursuit on Wednesday morning.

A deputy with the Fairfield County (OH) Sheriff's Office was among three people injured when his squad car collided with a stolen car during a vehicle pursuit on Wednesday morning.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, Deputy John Williamson and the two occupants in the stolen car—the driver, identified as 26-year-old Tyler Sunday and an unidentified female passenger—suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

All three were transported to a nearby hospital where they were treated.

Sunday was subsequently held on a number of outstanding felony warrants. The female passenger was also held on unrelated, outstanding charges.
