Officers called to respond to a domestic dispute in the Dallas suburb of DeSoto in August either failed to activate their body-worn cameras or turned them off at some point during the incident, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The newspaper obtained the footage of the incident through the Texas open records law and compared it to a dashcam video released last year.

The dashcam shows six DeSoto officers responding to the home of Sammie Anderson in August 2018 after she asked a friend to call for help in breaking up an argument between her two oldest sons.

Officers reportedly took Anderson and her two sons to the ground, and deployed a TASER on at least one of the young men.

The Dallas County district attorney’s office continues to investigate the incident.
