Plymouth, MI, police officers conducted a very special operation Monday.

Police officers Josh Carrol and Mark Farhat set up patrols around the city. They then looked for families out walking or driving by. If they saw them, they stopped them. They then delivered gifts to the children, creating a memory they hope they never forget, WXYZ reports.

The Pine Lake Country Club in West Bloomfield donated the gifts with the goal of spreading holiday cheer, after perhaps a few moments of stress.

Police say it is all about building positive relationships with the community.
