Swiss-based Piexon is now distributing its Jet Protector JP-401 in North America. The reloadable JP-401 is a handheld OC launcher that can fire a 270-mph liquid irritant projectile out to a range of 21 feet. It holds four 14mm pyrotechnic cartridges filled with liquid OC. Piexon says the JP-401 offers law enforcement substantial benefits over tradition OC canisters, including range, minimized scatter, and diminished cross-contamination.
