The tool removes a damaged case from any firearm chambered for either the .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO cartridges. Adjustable for overall length, the compact steel tool completely engages the edge or lip of the case mouth, making it possible for the gun's extractor to pull the Broken Shell Extractor out of the chamber, along with the remains of the case.
