Officers with the Chester Township (DE) Police Department arrested a 29-year-old man—who was driving a vehicle equipped with emergency lights, siren, and a police scanner—for impersonating a law enforcement officer.

Kaumualli Draine Sr. describes himself, according to the Delco Times, as a "bounty hunter" but records reveal that he is not licensed to perform those duties in the state.

According to reports, when Officer Jay Rattman stopped Draine last week, Rattman asked Draine if he was a police officer, and the man replied, "Yeah, I’m undercover right now."

When asked for his driver’s license and law enforcement ID, the driver said he did have either and, and that he was helping his friend, the passenger, move.

"Driver was asked what law enforcement agency he was associated with and he stated, 'Well, I work as a bounty hunter, for myself.'"
