San Bernardino police tackled a motorcyclist after a high-speed pursuit on freeways from San Bernardino to the Ontario area of Southern California Wednesday night, reports KNBC.
Officers began pursuing a motorcycle carrying a man and a woman in the San Bernardino area as the rider exceeded speeds of 100 mph at 8:45 p.m.
The rider, believed to be armed, slowed the motorcycle down and pushed the woman off at 15th and G streets. The rider then began speeding on surface streets before driving on two different freeways and then ditching the motorcycle and running from police in Ontario.
The rider hopped a fence before the takedown by police. He and the female passenger were taken into custody. A gun was found in the woman's backpack.
