The Mako Group presented a $5,000 donation to Discover Courage during SHOT Show. Discover Courage is dedicated to providing services tailored to the particular needs of the special operations community-SEALs, Delta, MARSOC, and Air Force Pararescue (Navy, Army, Marines, and Air Force).

Discover Courage was founded by Jay Manty, a 26-year SEAL veteran and retired SEAL Team Command Master Chief. His commitment for the organization is to, “foster personal growth, health and welfare; promote leadership; stress recalibration; facilitate reintegration; and optimize professional and personal success. Special Operations Interagency/National Missions Force personnel face unique stresses that other members of the military do not. Discover Courage explains that those outside of the community often do not understand the burden of confidentiality associated with service.”

Shay Granov, Mako’s vice president says, “Having served in special operations, I know first hand the demands placed on these men. It is an honor to help support Discover Courage and their mission.”

Discover Courage provides outdoor-focused programs for IA/NMF members so they can productively apply their hard-earned professional skills to new challenges designed to yield lifelong rewards, personal growth, and foster leadership development. For more information, visit www.discover-courage.org.
