A community college student stabbed 15 people Tuesday morning at a Houston-area vocational school before Harris County Sheriff's deputies took him into custody.

The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Dylan Andrew Quick, a student at Lone Star College's Cy-Fair campus. The stabbings occurred at about 11:20 a.m.

Eric Betrand, a fellow student who previously worked in the Marine Corps, told KHOU that he wrestled Quick to the ground with the help of three other students.

Quick used some type of knife or pencil and told police he'd been having fantasies of stabbing people to death since he was a child, reports the Houston Chronicle. Psychiatric tests have been ordered for the suspect.

This is the second incident this year at the college. On Jan. 22, three people were wounded in a shooting at Lone Star's North Harris campus. Lone Star has six campuses and specializes in vocational education.
