NLEOMF Hosts Annual LE Museum Fundraiser

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) has scheduled its third annual National Law Enforcement Museum gala fundraiser at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 12.

At the gala, NLEOMF members will honor law enforcement officers. Proceeds will benefit the National Law Enforcement Museum, which is under construction in Washington, D.C. It's scheduled to open in early 2015.

The gala will include dinner and will include presentations by Greg Brown, chairman and chief executive of Motorola Solutions, and actor Richard Belzer of "Law & Order: SVU." The evening's "reel to real" theme will focus on an exhibit at the museum that will compare and contrast how law enforcement is depicted in movies and television to real-life policing.

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center atrium is located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C.
