NLEOMF to Raffle Harley-Davidson Bike

The bike, which was donated by Harley-Davidson, retails for $18,402 and was on display during National Police Week at the Fraternal Order of Police's Tent City during LawRide. Only 6,000 tickets are being sold, and the raffle winner need not be present to win.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) will raffle off a 2010 Harley-Davidson Peace Officer Edition Road King at the upcoming National Law Enforcement Museum's groundbreaking gala on Oct. 14.

The bike, which was donated by Harley-Davidson, retails for $18,402 and was on display during National Police Week at the Fraternal Order of Police's Tent City during LawRide. Only 6,000 tickets are being sold, and the raffle winner need not be present to win.

All proceeds from the raffle will go towards efforts to build the first-ever National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, D.C. The 55,000 square foot, mostly underground, museum will tell of the story of American law enforcement through exhibits, collections, research and education.
