Sergeant's Patrol Car Stolen While He Served Warrant

A New Carrollton (Md.) police officer returned to a missing patrol car, after he left it unlocked and running while serving a warrant at an apartment building early Sunday.

A New Carrollton (Md.) police officer returned to a missing patrol car, after he left it unlocked and running while serving a warrant at an apartment building early Sunday.

The sergeant arrived as backup for an officer who was attempting to serve two arrest warrants at abotu 3 a.m., according to the Washington Post.

The car was found about an hour later parked between two buildings down the street.
