POLICE-TREXPO East Takes on Terrorism and Border Unrest

POLICE-TREXPO East first response training conference and expo will take place Aug. 17-20 in Chantilly, Va. The event will feature a keynote address on the Islamic terrorist threat, a panel on U.S. border threats, classes taught by experts in close-quarter combat and law enforcement tactics and techniques, and a world-class exposition of the latest law enforcement products and technologies. Keynote Speaker

Steven Emerson, executive director of The Investigative Project on Terrorism, will give a keynote presentation on "The Islamic Terrorist Threat: Violent and Stealth Jihad" Thursday Aug. 19, 0800-1000 hours.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view demonstrations and experience some trigger time with some of the most advanced law enforcement products and firearms, including subguns, less-lethal weapons, and suppressors.
