Daniel Defense Introduces AR15 Lite Rail II

The AR14 Lite Rail II is the second generation of the company's Lite Rails. New features include a one-piece aluminum rail that replaces the two-piece version and a Bolt-Up System with tabs that aid in alignment to the upper receiver during installation.

Photo courtesy of Daniel Defense.Daniel Defense has unveiled the next generation of its Lite Rails, the AR15 Lite Rail II. The new design enhances the rail's structure and improves its functionality, according to the company.

New features include a one-piece aluminum rail that replaces the two-piece version and a Bolt-Up System with tabs that aid in alignment to the upper receiver during installation. Front and rear sling swivel attachment points are integrated into both the left and right side rails to limit the swivel's rotation.

It is available in multiple lengths and variations as the AR15 Lite Rail II 7.0, 9.0, 9.5 FSP, 10.0, 12.0, 12.0 FSP. The 12.0 FSPM and 14.0 versions will be available in 2014.
