Chevrolet's 2010 Impala 9C1 is offered as an affordable front-wheel-drive patrol car that provides "efficient cost of ownership, while maintaining high performance standards," according to the company. The vehicle is powered by a 3.9-liter V6 engine with wide open throttle air-conditioning cut off that's rated with an MPG of 17 in the city and 24 on the highway. It's again available as a flex-fuel (E85) vehicle, and includes a 100,000-mile/five-year powertrain limited warranty. For the 2010 model, Chevrolet has added exterior color options of Summit White, Cyber Gray Metallic and Aqua Blue Metallic. The vehicle includes a 17-gallon fuel tank and 16-inch wheels. The keyless entry feature includes a stealth mode that won't trigger interior lighting or audible sounds; during remote-start mode running lights remain illuminated. Fleets are coded to a single key.
