Agusta Westland's AW139 with a specially configured and custom-designed medevac interior has recently entered into service with the Maryland State Police Aviation. In total, Maryland has ordered 10 AW139’s with all deliveries to be complete by early 2014. Maryland State Police Aviation Command will benefit from the expanded capability afforded by the AW139 platform to more fully meet their emergency medical, search and rescue, law enforcement, and homeland security missions.
