A restaurant owner and his wife used tables and chairs to chase armed robbers out of their business in west Berlin.
The three men, carrying a pistol and a knife among them, broke into the Chinese restaurant after it closed, but were no match for the furniture-wielding owner, 54, and his wife, 51.
“The owner and his wife reacted quickly,” said a police spokesman. “They picked up tables and chairs and threw them at the suspects, and chased them out.”
