Locals can laugh about it now, but there were some tense moments when they saw the toddlers going down the road.
Jordan’s father, Doug Will, summed up the situation when he told the local press, “Nothing bad happened, so it’s kind of cute now when you look at it. But at the time it wasn’t cute at all. It was scary. I was really upset.”
Neighbors said that Jordan showed remarkable driving skill for a toddler when he piloted the toy car out of his neighborhood and across a busy intersection. He even obeyed the traffic signals.
Omro officers were called to the scene. They pulled Jordan over. Both boys were returned safely to their parents.
