Tactical Medicine Experts to Appear at TREXPO West

Lawrence Heiskell M.D. from the International School of Tactical Medicine, Dan Olesnicky M.D., Sydney Vail M.D., and Don Lane, J.D. will discuss Tactical Emergency Medicine during a new full-day conference at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif., on Monday, March 19.

Topics will include training issues in tactical medicine, tactical team health management, wound ballistics and combat casualty care, and legal risks in tactical medicine.

Lawrence E. Heiskell, M.D., FACEP, FAAFP is the medical director for the International School of Tactical Medicine. Heiskell is residency trained and board certified in emergency medicine and family practice and is a practicing emergency physician in California. He has 16 years experience as a SWAT team physician and is a graduate of P.O.S.T, NTOA, H & K, and FBI SWAT schools.
