SoundOff Signal
, a leading manufacturer of lighting and safety products for emergency, bus, and commercial vehicles, announced that it has contracted with
Safariland
to assume responsibility for the sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and service of the
911EP
product line. This license agreement also extends to the related 911EP trademarks and technology.
Prior to this transaction, Safariland produced 911EP brand law enforcement vehicle lighting solutions in its Jacksonville, Fla., manufacturing facility.
According to Mark Litke, president and COO of SoundOff Signal, the 911EP product line complements the existing SoundOff Signal product offering, and expands an already robust domestic and international sales organization. Additionally, through this agreement, SoundOff will be able to ensure that established 911EP customers continue to have access to skilled technical service for past and future product needs. Products included in this transition include:
Galaxy LightBar
Interior Commander Lighting System
LS12
LED Star
TDWL24 - 36
360 Star
Orion Switches
Until August 21, all orders should be sent to the current 911EP location and will likely ship from Jacksonville. Effective August 24, SoundOff Signal will begin to take orders for 911EP products. Beginning August 28, production orders will ship from SoundOff Signal in Hudsonville, Mich.
