Ford’s Police Vehicle Tour Begins in August

Ford is hosting a nationwide ride-and-drive tour with the all-new 2021 F-150 Police Responder and the Police Interceptor Utility. The tour begins in August and stops in 17 major cities.

Ford is hosting a nationwide ride-and-drive tour with the all-new 2021 F-150 Police Responder and the Police Interceptor Utility. The tour begins in August and stops in 17 major cities.

“Get a product deep-dive into the all-new 2021 F-150 Police Responder, the only pursuit-rated pickup on the market, now upgraded with an improved top speed of 120 mph, enhanced performance and capability, and additional officer-inspired content,” according to Greg Ebel, police brand marketing manager for Ford. “You will also receive a dynamic drive experience in the game-changing Police Interceptor Utility — the first-ever, pursuit-rated hybrid police SUV. It offers the potential for significant fuel cost savings without any performance tradeoffs and additional purpose-built police features and innovative technologies.”

Attendees will be able to drive three PIU powertrains — the standard hybrid as well as an available 3.3L V6 direct-injection FFV and an available 3L EcoBoost V6.
