A Chicago teenager who was arrested four years ago after going on patrol has been arrested again for pretending to be a Chicago Police officer.
Vincent Richardson made headlines in 2009 when he went on patrol with a real officer for five hours on the South Side and helped make an arrest, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Richardson walked into the VCG Uniform store on Tuesday wearing dark blue cargo pants and identified himself as an Englewood District officer. He presented a driver's license and said he was interested in trying on cargo shorts and a duty belt.
The clerk grew suspicious and found his earlier arrest during an Internet search. The clerk returned to find Richardson had disappeared but left his wallet. He told arresting officers, "I know what it's like to be one of you."
