SHOT Show 2011: Best of Show
This year, the law enforcement section of the show wound through both floors of the Sands Expo Center and into numerous ballrooms in the Venetian Hotel. Exhibitors along the law enforcement aisles were showing everything from machine guns to mannequins, ranging in size from vehicles to lights the size of a stick of Dentyne gum.

Leupold's CM-R² allows tactical and competitive shooters the ability to quickly and accurately estimate range and engage targets. It also features an illuminated 0.5 MOA dot surrounded by a 5.0 MOA semi-circle, as well as calibrated hash marks on the horizontal stadia.

Leupold Upgrades Mark 4 Rifle Scopes
Primary upgrades include Leupold's Xtended Twilight Lens System, as well as options such as M5 0.1 mil windage and elevation adjustment dials, Horus reticles, front focal plane reticles and third-generation illuminated reticles. Selected options can be retrofitted for existing Mark 4 riflescopes.

When it comes to gear and gadgets for duty applications, many of us are drawn to the coolest, most expensive items. That's true of weapons and it's true of weapon accessories such as optics. But what's more important is to find the right optics to fit your mission. Options include red dot sights, variable focal length short scopes often used on shotguns, and of course true precision scopes meant for use on a precision rifle.

LEOs Earn Top Spots at FNH USA-Leupold Long Range Shooting Competition
After five full days of heated competition in extreme weather conditions, Officer Nate Mickle and PFC Rich McCampbell of the Baltimore County PD SWAT team took top overall team honors with 177 total points in the 2009 FNH USA - Leupold Long Range Precision Shooting Competition, which ended June 5th.
