The Pocket Shot is DeSantis Gunhide's latest way to conceal and rapidly access your small auto. The patent-pending Level II security ThumbDrive holster from 5.11 Tactical is reinforced and features a slick-surface polymer that can hold its shape above 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Designed with a thumb-activated release, the holster avoids wearing off the finish of a firearm and features a Chop-Block attachment for added securement. A paddle and belt slide for belts up to 2.25 inches are included, though a Drop-and-Off-Set kit and thigh rig are available as additional accessories.

During my law enforcement career, I found it no real burden or inconvenience to carry one or two spare magazines or one or two extra speed loaders. One trick I learned is to invert double-magazine pouches to make them fit in a way that flatters your body and protrudes less.
