LAPD Releases Video of Officer Shot at Point Blank Range During Traffic Stop

The Los Angeles Police Department has released video on YouTube from a July shooting at a traffic stop that left an officer with a gunshot wound to her leg. The agency released the 10-minute video under a new policy that requires such recordings to be made public within 45 days of an officer-involved shooting. Border Patrol Agent Shot, Saved by Vest in Arizona

The agent was struck several times and apparently returned fire. The agent, a 21-year veteran of the Border Patrol and a trained paramedic, called for help through his car radio and bandaged himself until medical support could reach him, officials said.

4 Oklahoma Troopers Injured in Gunfight and Explosion Serving Warrant, Suspect Killed

Troopers said the building appeared to be wired with explosives and at least one detonated. The building was consumed by the fire. Troopers used a flash bang during the encounter, but they said it did not start the fire.
