Another battle is brewing over whether police officers should be able to review the recordings before writing police reports about incidents. Bibring and others said officers should not have access to the recordings because it could allow them to alter their statements or align them with what the footage showed.

LAPD to Outfit All Officers with TASER Axon Body Cameras and Evidence.com
TASER International today announced the purchase of 860 Axon body-worn video cameras and a five-year subscription to Evidence.com by the Los Angeles Police Department. Los Angeles plans to equip a total of 7,000 officers with body cameras in 2015.
