Police Say FL Man Stole Alligator, Tried to Throw It onto Liquor Store Roof
The suspect said he jumped a fence to an alligator enclosure and stole the gator, according to an arrest report. Officers said when they asked the man what he was doing when he was throwing the alligator in the air, he advised he was "teaching it a lesson."

"Nothing to BEE concerned about! Officer Mays from @nypdbees swiftly responded to a swarm of bees in Times Square today, and gently removed approximately 25,000 bees from the location before transporting them to a safe location," the NYPD said in a tweet on Tuesday.

CA Deputy Kills Mountain Lion Stalking Trail Walkers
The deputy was responding to 911 calls from a couple walking on a bike trail east of Placerville. They were walking with their two small children in a stroller and had their two small dogs with them. They were being followed by an adult mountain lion for about 10 minutes.
