Nearly 200 people gathered outside the Salt Lake City Public Safety Building Saturday afternoon in memory of James Dudley Barker, who was shot and killed last Thursday by a police officer after he attacked and injured the officer with a shovel.

Body of Missing Utah Officer Found, No Foul Play Suspected
Late Sunday morning, a truck was found at the base of a cliff in a remote area of Sevier County, just west of Emery. The Sevier County Sheriff's Office confirmed that it was the vehicle that belonged to Jedediah "JR" Steadman, who went missing on Tuesday. More Here.

Dispatchers Plagued by Thousands of Annoying Calls to 911 Give Special Christmas Gift to Disabled Man
David VanBibber had an old cellphone that he used as an iPod to listen to music. The phone was disconnected and unable to make calls. But even disconnected cellphones are still able to call 911, which he was accidentally doing while trying to access his music. More Here.

Salt Lake City and Birmingham PDs Select Evidence.com for Digital Asset Management
TASER International announced today that the Salt Lake City Police Department and the Birmingham Police Department have selected Evidence.com to securely store and manage all of the digital evidence from their AXON body cameras and other digital devices. Both departments secured a five-year subscription with Evidence.com in the third quarter of 2014.
