Campus Safety Invites SROs, Campus Police to Participate in Columbine Anniversary Survey
To mark the 10-year anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting, Campus Safety magazine announces it is now conducting a survey on the state of K-12 school and college security. All individuals who are involved in elementary school and higher education campus safety are encouraged to participate. The survey closes Feb. 5.

Campus Police, San Bernardino Officers Kill Arson Suspect
San Bernardino officers and Cal State University officers shot and killed an arson suspect earlier this week near the Cal State San Bernardino campus. The location is just miles from the Lake Arrowhead wildfire, which at press time had engulfed more than 10,000 acres.

While such acts are rarely reported in the media, one in three schools has reported acts of vandalism each year. In 1990 more than $600 million in damage to school property was caused by vandals.
