Motorist Helped Ohio Officer During Attack
Otto Coleman, 64, resisted and assaulted Dayton Police Officer Jonathan Seiter during a vehicle stop, before a passing motorist pulled over, exited her vehicle and began striking Coleman in the head until the officer could control the man.

Servicemen Help Stabbed California Sergeant Arrest Attacker
The three Marines and Army private who were about to be deployed to Afghanistan helped the sergeant get the 19-year-old man into custody. Police had responded to a call of a man "brandishing a sharp instrument and threatening citizens."
