IACP 2011: Texas Detectives Honored for Solving Murder Cases
The College Station (Texas) Police Department's detectives were honored with the Excellence in Criminal Investigations award at the 2011 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). The detectives solved three capital murder cases in 2010, apprehending the suspect in each case within 14 hours of the crime being committed.

IACP 2011: LDV Pulls Back the Curtain on Mobile Command Centers
LDV's new S-Series mobile command center (MCC) will be on display at booth 1381, and will feature sections left in the early stages of construction so visitors can see exposed walls, metal fabrication and wiring.

In-car video manufacturer Digital Ally has entered the speed enforcement market with its new LaserAlly LIDAR. The LaserAlly can acquire targets in one-third of a second at a range of more than a mile. At just 2.5 pounds, the LaserAlly is one of the lightest LIDAR systems on the market.
