The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Dane County Circuit Court by Brookfield attorney William Rettko on behalf of Mark D. Wagner Jr., alleges that even after WKOW became aware of the error, the station “ran the false story at least once.”

WI Deputies Use Snowplow to End Pursuit Involving Historic Military Truck
The Shawano County Special Response Team responded to the scene. Deputies, including trained negotiators, attempted to deescalate the situation. Arrangements were made with the Shawano County Highway Department for the use of heavy equipment in case this suspect vehicle became mobile again.
