Daren, a plush lion, is a tool for teaching safety awareness and crime prevention. The official mascot of D.A.R.E. America, Daren is designed to draw audiences to community policing venues. Daren can drive up in his cruiser and turn his head, wink and blink, and move his mouth automatically while carrying on a two-way conversation with those around him, all by remote control.
