TX Gunman Kills 1, Wounds 3, Then Gets Stoned to Death
At some point, the shooter was caught by the group, and either fell or was taken down by the group. The shooter continued shooting, striking at least three others, authorities said. The gunman was struck multiple times with at least one landscaping brick and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Sgt. Josh Bartlett of the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office was taken to Covenant Health Levelland hospital and died of his wounds, according to a sheriff's office statement. Bartlett was the commander of the sheriff's tactical unit.
