Slain Alaska Officers Encountered Suspect In Earlier Violent Arrest
The officers followed Marvin to his home, where he ambushed them in an alley and physically attacked them. Both officers drew their guns and eventually used a TASER to subdue Marvin, who ignored their verbal commands.

Suspect in Slaying of Utah Deputy Captured
Arizonaβs Coconino County Sheriffβs Department spokeswoman Erika Wittenmuth said Curley was taken into custody about 1 a.m. in the Lost Spring subdivision after a homeowner reported seeing a man with a rifle slung over his shoulder trying to get into his home about 12:20 a.m. In all, 17 police officers rushed to the scene and soon located Curley.
