The iEvac Fire Escape Hood from Elmridge Protection Products is lightweight, can be put on in 30 seconds, and is sealed into a small package for a long shelf life. The hood was extensively tested against various gases and sub-micron particulates. The composite filtering canisters fitted to the iEvac are a combination of HEPA filtration, catalyst, and impregnated activated carbon. This hood has earned a certification for compliance with ANSI/ISEA 110 -2003 from the Safety Equipment Institute.
