An explosive device found in a car parked outside the 25th Precinct stationhouse forced NYPD officers to evacuate the building Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday NYPD officials described the bomb as a device with “a low explosive powder impact.”
Police called in the bomb squad and evacuated the precinct as a precaution, the New York Post reports.
The bomb was found after two cousins had an altercation outside the station. One cousin reportedly attacked the other with a machete. The victim reportedly asked police to arrest his cousin and told officers about the device in their car.
