Police in Australia do not currently have enough evidence to charge an Indian physician arrested last week, although they have established links between the doctor and the men suspected of the recent failed London and Glasgow bombings, according to officials.
Mohammed Haneef, 27, has been detained for 10 days. Police ended their effort to continue detaining the physician. Unless police file charges or make another official attempt to detain him, the suspect must be released, the Herald Tribune reported.
