Parolee and gang member Richard Rodriguez, 24, has filed a civil claim demanding $5 million from the El Monte Police Department for injuries he says he suffered, when officer George Fierro kicked and pepper-sprayed him, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports.
Nick Pacheco, a former Los Angeles councilman and the attorney for Rodriguez, also said his client has a good case against the officer, who kicked him in the head at the end of a televised pursuit in mid-May.
