The reward leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the vicious beating of a San Francisco Giants fan at Dodger Stadium on opening day has been increased to more than $200,000.
Bryan Stow, who was attacked by two men in the parking lot after the March 31 game, remains hospitalized in critical condition. A coma was medically induced in order to reduce swelling on his brain.
The Dodgers contributed additional funds to bring the reward to more than $200,000. Also, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said 17 detectives are working full-time on the case.
POLICE Magazine gang expert Richard Valdemar believes the beating is gang related.
