Maine Cop Shot In Woods by State Wardens

A Rumford (Maine) Police Department officer was fatally shot in the woods by a Maine warden near the officer's home early Thursday. The death of Eric Richard, 46, is currently under investigation. The exact circumstances are not known.

Maine Lawmakers Push for Law to Grant Oversight of Drug Forfeiture Proceeds
